Some color studies, think I figured out something important that has never fit together before, please correct me if I’m still off.
so a darker color will be less saturated as it gets darker so I moved the value dot to reflect this
A middle value will be the most saturated of the bunch so I pushed it towards saturation in the triangle
a light value loses saturation as it goes toward white so it pushed it in that direction
Then spread the 3 different value triangle directions across a 3 color analogous set of hues(see dots on triangle)
Blend them for more values…
Did I finally get my head around light better?

I am guessing I can move those dots relative to each other as far or as close to points as long as they all move the same distance/are relative to each others location?
Is this why fucking with curve mids in photoshop makes everything look so nice cause its doing that middle saturation for you?
